Creating an Invoice

In this video, I demonstrate how to create and send invoices for products and services outside a funnel.

I share a real-life example of creating an invoice after conducting a workshop for youth. Watch to learn the process and ensure timely payments for your work.

Step-by-Step Directions:

1. Access your additional tools and navigate to the "Money" section.
2. Navigate to the "Invoices" tab. Click on "+New" to create a new invoice (Top right corner)
3. Fill in your business details including name, phone number, and address.
4. Add a client by selecting from the existing list or creating a new client.
5. Enter the client's information (if creating a new client)
6. Add an item by selecting from existing items or creating a new one (you're likely going to create a new one if this is for a one-off service)
7. Fill in the details of the item such as name, type (service or product), price, and save it.
8. Update the name of the invoice with a descriptive title.
9. Send the invoice via email, text, or both by clicking "Send Invoice"

Cautionary Notes

- Ensure all information entered is accurate to avoid payment delays or errors.
- Double-check the details of the invoice before sending to the client.
- Make sure the invoice is in live mode for payment processing (it will be live by default). This toggle is under "Additional Options" once you go to send the invoice. 

Tips for Efficiency

- Save commonly used client and item details for quick access.
- Use descriptive titles for invoices to easily identify them.
- Keep track of sent invoices and payments for record-keeping purposes.
